Northern Maine Community College President Tim Crowley speaks on Aug. 1 at the annual Maine Better Transportation Association meeting in Presque Isle. Addressing the overall economic development in Aroostook, Crowley discussed how NMCC programs, like auto tech, auto collision repair, diesel hydraulics and mechanized logging, impact transportation. Maine DOT Deputy Commissioner Nina Fisher also attended and highlighted the upcoming $105 million transportation bond package to focus on highways, bridges, multimodal projects and municipal culverts.
