FORT KENT, Maine — Aroostook EMA (AKEMA) announced Wednesday, Aug. 21, the due to unforeseen circumstances they have canceled the full-scale exercise in the area of the University of Maine at Fort Kent on Saturday, Aug. 24.
Aroostook County coordinates a number of exercises throughout the year, with at least one large full-scale exercise annually. These events allow numerous departments to practice their readiness and skills in a real life scenario, and provide a basis to make necessary improvements.
