AROOSTOOK COUNTY, Maine — State Sen. Troy Jackson, D-Allagash, will hold public office hours on Monday, Sept. 16, in Limestone, Washburn and Ashland.

Jackson will appear from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Limestone Town Office, then will travel to Washburn for a session from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Washburn Memorial Library’s Barbara Porter Room. His final office hours will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Recreation Department on Exchange Street in Ashland.

RSVPs are not required, and all are welcome to stop by and ask any questions they have on their minds.

“While there is always more work to do, I’m proud of the progress we made this session to reduce pressure on property taxes, hold Big Pharma accountable and support good-paying jobs in rural Maine,” said Jackson, who serves as Senate president. “I encourage folks from communities in central Aroostook to stop by and ask any questions they may have.”

Individuals who can’t attend office hours can call Jackson’s office at (207) 287-1500, email him directly at Troy.Jackson@legislature.maine.gov, or reach him via cell phone at (207) 436-0763.
