Auction funds will aid Mapleton Daze

Last week, the Mapleton Daze Committee held its first Mapleton Daze Annual On-Line Silent Auction. The online auction ran from Dec. 9 to Dec.  12 at 6 p.m.. The Mapleton Daze Committee thanks everyone who bid and purchased their auction items online.  


Lynnelle Foster, Mapleton Daze president, wants readers to know the funds raised from the auction will help make the 2020 Mapleton Daze another wonderful fun event for all who attend.

Christmas services in Mapleton and Chapman

This year there will be special Christmas Services at the area churches. Christmas Eve services will be held at the Mapleton United Baptist Church and the Mapleton United Methodist Church.  Please check with your church for exact times.

Quilting group announces schedule change

The Chapman Quilting Group meets at the Chapman Ridge Runners Snowmobile and ATV Clubhouse on Wednesdays.  However due to the busy holiday season, Chapman Quilting Group will not meet until January 8, 2020. Its regular sessions for Dec. 18 , 25 and Jan. 1 are cancelled.  For more information, please contact Sue Maynard at 207-764-1236.
