PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Anah Shrine Clowns aren’t letting COVID-19 social distancing regulations keep them from spreading cheer.

The clowns will embark on a trip around various Presque Isle neighborhoods on Saturday, April 25, to entertain families stuck indoors during the state’s stay-at-home order.

Starting at 11 a.m., a group of around a dozen clowns will wave to patients at the Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center and then travel by car through neighborhoods near Academy Street, including but not limited to Pine Street, Blake Street and others. They then will visit other neighborhoods in Presque Isle.

The clowns will remain in vehicles throughout the tour in adherence to social distancing protocols.
