FORT KENT, Maine — A live-streamed Holy Hour, during which St. John Vianney Parish in Fort Kent will be consecrated to the care of the Blessed Mother, will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 17.
The gathering will also include the crowning of Mary. The “May crowning” is an act of popular devotion traditionally held in May because May is considered the month of Mary. The Holy Hour will also feature benediction.
All are welcome to participate from home.
The Holy Hour can be viewed through the parish website www.stjohnvianneyparish.net or on WFK-TV, Channel 1301 (local cable).
Even in this time of pandemic, there are many ways to participate in Eucharistic adoration throughout Maine, including in Houlton.
An hour of eucharistic adoration is live-streamed on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. from St. Mary of the Visitation Church in Houlton following the 6 p.m. Mass. Visit www.maryagnespaul.org/mass-confession-times to view.
