DANFORTH, Maine — East Grand School Principal/Superintendent Margaret White has announced the honor parts for the Class of 2021.
Nathaniel Farr has been named valedictorian, while Emma Griffiths is the salutatorian.
Farr, the son of Lori and Tom Farr of Danforth, is an active member of the East Grand School National Honor Society, a First Aid/CPR instructor, and played varsity baseball. Farr plans to attend American Public University, Manassas, Virginia, and major in cybersecurity.
Griffiths, the daughter of Melisa Brooks of Weston, has completed more than a semester’s worth of college credits. She was secretary of the Class of 2021 for two years, is an NHS member, and is a four-year varsity softball player and two-year varsity soccer player. Griffiths has been accepted into the pre-law program at Husson University.
