Kiwanis donation

Many seventh- and eighth-graders don’t have breakfast. To combat morning hunger and the need for nutritious snacks, Caribou Kiwanis Club recently presented Caribou Community School with assorted snacks to provide middle schoolers with a boost of energy.

From left are: Troy Barnes, eighth-grade reacher; Pam Giberson, social worker; and eighth-grade teachers Kim Barnes and Heather Anderson. Not in the photo is Mary Beth Francis, chairwoman of the Kiwanis Community School Snack Project. Kiwanis also donated gloves, mittens and hats for lower grades.
