The Aroostook Hospice Foundation, owner of the Aroostook House of Comfort, is pleased to announce that Abigail Clair, LCSW, will take on the new position of executive director of AHF beginning Sept. 1.

Clair is grateful to Northern Light AR Gould Hospital for its support of her education and career development during her ten-year tenure as clinician and care manager. “I have a strong passion for the philosophy of hospice care,” Clair states.

Her previous frontline hospice experience will allow a natural transition into her new role and guarantee a continued collaboration with Northern Light Home Care & Hospice. “I am honored to be asked to join and carry on the mission initiated by the Aroostook Hospice Foundation.”

The Aroostook House of Comfort is an in-patient hospice and respite care facility owned by the Aroostook Hospice Foundation and staffed by Northern Light Home Care & Hospice, the only local Medicare-certified hospice provider in the area. Together we offer individuals and their families compassionate care, comfort, dignity, and support on their journey through hospice.
