Pines Health Services welcomes two primary care providers

CARIBOU, Maine — Pines Health Services is pleased to welcome Kirsten Darrell, PA-C and Steven Albert, FNP-C to the team of high-quality primary care providers.

“Pines is thrilled to have experienced providers such as Kirsten and Steven join our team,” said Pines Chief Operating Officer Lisa Caron. “We are especially happy to have Kirsten returning home to the County and Steven returning to our Pines family.”

Before returning to Maine, Darrell worked for more than 15 years in Hawaii as a physician assistant in family medicine. Her experience includes family care, women’s health, pediatrics, chronic pain and chronic condition management. Darrell earned a master of health science as a physician assistant from Drexel University, Philadelphia. She has a bachelor of science in medical biology from the University of New England. 

In addition to primary care, Albert has diverse experience and works with outpatient clients dealing with hypertension, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and other chronic conditions. Albert is bilingual and can help treat our patients who are more comfortable speaking French. He received his master of science in nursing at the University of Maine.

Darrell, PA-C will be seeing patients at Pines Presque Isle Health Center located at 66 Spruce Street. To schedule an appointment call 207-769-2025. 

Albert, FNP-C will be seeing patients at Pines St. John Valley Health Center located at 4 Maine Street, Van Buren. To schedule an appointment call 207-868-2796. 

Pines Presque Isle Health Center and the Pines St. John Valley Health Centers are open Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
