Cary Medical Center & Pines Health Services welcomes first baby of 2024

CARIBOU, Maine – Congratulations to Cary Medical Center’s 2024 New Year’s Baby, Oliver Gerard, and his parents, Chanelle and Jesse Martin of Frenchville. Oliver was the first baby born at Cary for the New Year, on Sunday, January 7 He was born weighing in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces and he was 21 inches long. 

Oliver is the third child for Chanelle and Jesse, they have a 4-year-old girl named Roslynn and a 2-year-old boy named Bennett. 

As the first baby born this year, Oliver and his parents received some very special gifts from the Cary Medical Center team and the Cary Medical Center Auxiliary. Presenting their gift baskets were team members of the Cary Auxiliary Sandra Huck, Joanne Cyr, Paula Richards and Cary team members Casey Harpine, RN; Mariah Cyr, CNM; Shelly Deprey, RN; Susan Miller, LPN; and Kim Martin, CNM.

With about 20 active members, the Cary Medical Center Auxiliary continues to support the hospital by hosting various fundraisers with proceeds supporting many hospital projects.
