The artist grew up on a farm in Washburn with her parents and three siblings. “My parents  raised me to love others and most importantly love the Lord. I am able to express that through  my work.”

McCrum has a bachelor’s degree in the fine arts with an emphasis on drawing and painting and  her preferred medium is watercolor. She currently works at a retirement home where the  residents inspired her latest project which features them in portraits done in watercolor.

During the upcoming show, she will be presenting a variety of works — all things that she is  passionate about. McCrum’s art is found on Facebook at LCM Arts and Designs and there is also a link to her website. Artists who exhibit in the Artists for Aging space, dedicate a percentage of all sales to support  Agency on Aging programs and services.
