PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – The City of Presque Isle is extremely proud to announce that, in September, Business View Magazine named Presque Isle one of the “Best Managed Cities in Maine with a population under 10K for 2024”. The City is very proud of this accolade and attributes this honor to the knowledge, hard work and dedication of the City staff and team.

Presque Isle was featured in the magazine in the January 2024 issue. In the article, the City was described as “an enchanting mix of small-town charm and entrepreneurial spirit. This idyllic destination, set in the vast expanse of Aroostook County, offers a unique blend of natural beauty and economic vitality.” It goes on to state, “Presque Isle is more than just a scenic retreat. It’s a hub of agricultural and industrial innovation. The town is a critical player in Maine’s potato industry, and its commitment to sustainable practices and technological advancements in farming is noteworthy. This forward-thinking approach also extends to other sectors, with local businesses and startups demonstrating a blend of traditional values and modern ingenuity.”

According to BVM’s website, the magazine is “North America’s best source of news for executives, entrepreneurs, small business owners, franchisees, and anyone else interested in current industry trends and best practices. Every month our digital platform covers the latest developments in manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, supply chain and logistics, health care, food and beverage, and energy.” The magazine, with over 877,000 subscribers, also covers “the public sector, reporting on the latest advances in municipal public works, green initiatives, and college sustainability programs.”

Business View Magazine has also provided the City with a “badge” to include on email signatures, social media and its website.
