3-Day Outlook: Wednesday, Nov. 20 – Friday, Nov. 22

While plenty of clouds remain across the Valley today, dry conditions are expected as a ridge of high pressure builds across the region between low pressure areas– one to the east and another to the west. Wednesday’s high reaches the upper 40s with overnight lows in the upper 30s under cloudy skies.

Thursday, a triple point low forms near the Mid-Atlantic coast and drifts over southeast New York State and northeast Pennsylvania. Increasing chances of rain develop Thursday afternoon as high pressure to the northeast weakens. A chance of rain continues Thursday evening with rain likely overnight into Friday as the occluded front drifts towards Downeast Maine. Highs reach the middle 40s with overnight temperatures in the upper 30s.

Rain continues Friday with gusty east winds across the SJV as the low tracks across the Gulf of Maine Friday into early Saturday. Daytime highs top out in the lower 40s with lows Friday night in the middle 30s.
