Aroostook Partnership president/CEO resigns

Aroostook Partnership President & CEO Scott Dionne has decided to resign from his position to  pursue a leadership role with a national building products distribution company. This new position leverages his nearly 30 years of construction experience while allowing him to pursue  his passion of product development and building science education. The hybrid nature of the  position allows Scott and his family to remain in Aroostook County and continue his volunteer efforts, including the support of Aroostook Partnership’s mission.

Dionne has made significant progress at Aroostook Partnership in the past six months, refining  operating and accounting processes, organizing action committees, building connections with area schools, municipalities and businesses, as well as creating a vision for and taking action to redevelop the Opportunities Aroostook digital platform. We are thankful for his impact and wish him well with this new endeavor.

The Aroostook Partnership has formed a search committee, which is in the process of refining the president/CEO job description and will be posting the position soon.

With the advent of the search and other timing challenges, the Aroostook Partnership has postponed its annual meeting until January. By that time, we hope to have a successful  candidate named and wish to share this occasion with the new president/CEO.

The Aroostook Partnership is the private/public partnership speaking with one voice and engaging the private sector leadership, talents, and resources in the region to ensure the economic survival and growth of Aroostook County.
