To the editor:
There will be a peaceful Rally for Restoration on Saturday, March 1, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the sidewalk in front of Houlton’s Peace Pole in Monument Park. This is across the street from the Unitarian Church on Military Street.
My sign will read “Restore the rule of law.” Another sign might read “Restore funding for Alzheimer research.” Other signs are welcome. I will be wearing a wide black arm band and will stand in silence. A permit for the rally has been obtained. There will be similar gatherings in other counties in Maine.
All those who are in sympathy with the sentiments of this rally are welcome. Hope to see you there.
