3-Day Outlook: Wednesday, April 23 – Friday, April 25
An upper-level trough will cross the region today while surface low pressure moves east in the Maritimes. Isolated to scattered showers are possible across the Saint John Valley into the early evening hours with little in the way of appreciable precipitation anticipated. Tonight, partly cloudy skies and light northwest winds are expected as high pressure briefly builds across the SJV.
Thursday features mostly cloudy to overcast skies as a fast-moving clipper low tracks from around northern Vermont to the Downeast coast by Friday morning producing a chance of showers Thursday night into Friday morning with less than 1/10-inch precipitation expected.
Friday, high pressure builds across the area with partly sunny skies. Another low pressure system approaching from the west tracks across the northern Mid-Atlantic / southern New England region and brings increasing clouds in the afternoon and some isolated showers to the SJV by Friday evening. Mostly cloudy skies with a chance of rain showers is expected Friday night into Saturday morning.

Low pressure off the Downeast coast tracks east Saturday with morning showers and afternoon rain for the Valley. A chance of rain continues overnight into early Sunday before tapering to showers that end Sunday afternoon.
High pressure builds in Sunday with skies becoming partly cloudy to mostly clear Sunday afternoon. Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies Sunday night remain mostly sunny across the region Monday into Monday night. Partly sunny skies with a chance of afternoon showers overspreads the area Tuesday as a warm front approaches and lifts across the region Tuesday night.
