Old Town girls, Caribou boys cruise to soccer wins

On Saturday, September 27th in Caribou, the visiting Old Town Coyote girls and host Caribou Viking boys each cruised to victories.  

Girls 

In the girls game, Old Town’s Karina Dumond took a pass from Olivia Lizotte in the first minute to get things started quickly for the Coyotes, as they defeated the Caribou Vikings with a score of 8-0.  

Dumond went on to add two additional goals and two assists to lead the attack. Taylor Madden also scored three goals, with Britta Hancock and Lizotte pickup up single scores.  Olivia Ketch registered the shutout in net for the Coyotes, who move to a record of 4-2.  

Caribou drops to 0-7.

Caribou:  none.

Boys 

In the boys game, Caribou’s Owen Corrigan scored six goals for the second time this season as the Vikings rolled to the 14-1 win over Old Town.  

Declan Miller tallied three goals, Max Morrow and Austin Giles, with two goals each, also notched multiple goal efforts.  Hayden Holabird rounded out the scoring for the 5-1-1 Vikings.  

For Old Town, Aiden Sucy scored on a feed from Jack Dagrasse for their only score.  The Coyotes fall to 0-7 on the season.
