Can-Am Crown announces updated refund policy

FORT KENT, Maine — The Can-Am Crown Board of Directors announced an update to its race refund policy following feedback gathered through a survey of mushers the race committee conducted and ongoing input from the sled dog community.

Under the updated policy, registered mushers who withdraw from their race by Friday,

Feb. 13 will be eligible for a partial refund. Refund amounts vary by race distance, as outlined below:

Can-Am 250; entry fee: $350; refund: $250

Can-Am 100; entry fee: $250; refund: $175

Can-Am 30; entry fee: $175; refund: $125

Mushers requesting to withdraw and receive a refund must submit their request via email to registrations@can-am-crown.net with the subject line “WITHDRAW”, no later than Friday, Feb. 13.
