HOULTON, Maine – Jack Philbrook, a senior at Greater Houlton Christian Academy, has been selected to receive the 2026 Principal’s Award.
He is the son of Joel and Jessica Philbrook of New Limerick. The award sponsored by the Maine Principal’s Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
Robert Albers, head of school said, “In addition to being a dedicated student with the highest grade point average in his class, Jack demonstrates his integrity, perseverance, great sense of humor and deep love for Jesus Christ in all he does. He will be greatly missed by students and faculty alike, but we are excited to see all that he will accomplish with the rest of his life.”

Philbrook and Albers will attend the honors luncheon on Saturday, April 11. The luncheon recognizes these outstanding students with the presentation of an individual plaque and the awarding of 10 $1,000 scholarships in the names of former Maine principals and MPA Executive Directors: Horace O.
