The County Federal Credit Union will host its 70th annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 4, bringing together members, leadership and community partners to celebrate seven decades of service, share organizational updates, and look ahead to the future.
The meeting will be held simultaneously in two locations to ensure accessibility for members across the region. Sessions will take place at the University of Maine at Presque Isle Multipurpose Room and at the University of Maine Wells Conference Center.
This milestone event will feature a keynote presentation from Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Andrew Drewer, who will provide insights into the national and international landscape of fraud and investigative operations.
“The annual meeting is an important opportunity to connect with our members, reflect on our shared accomplishments, and reaffirm our commitment to the communities we serve,” said Dan Bagley, executive vice president of The County Federal Credit Union. “As we celebrate our 70th anniversary, we are proud to welcome a distinguished speaker whose work highlights the value of vigilance, collaboration and public service.”
During the meeting, members will hear reports from leadership on the credit union’s performance, strategic initiatives, and community impact over the past year. The event will also provide an opportunity for members to engage directly with leadership and participate in the democratic governance process that defines the credit union movement.
Founded in 1956, The County Federal Credit Union has grown into a trusted financial partner for thousands of members throughout northern Maine. Guided by the philosophy of “people helping people,” the credit union continues to invest in programs and partnerships that strengthen local communities and support long-term financial well-being.
Members are encouraged to attend and participate in this gathering as The County Federal Credit Union celebrates its legacy and looks toward the next chapter of service and innovation.
