Easton Jr/Sr High School bid farewell to the 11 members of the Class of 2026 during a June 5 graduation ceremony.

Principal Laura Hunter welcomed all attending.

“Tonight, we come together as families, friends, faculty, staff and community members to celebrate this class and the journey that has brought them to this moment,” Hunter said. “We have the honor of recognizing each member of the Class of 2026. As we do, we celebrate their accomplishments, their growth, and the unique qualities each graduate brings with them as they move forward.”

Hunter outlined each senior’s special qualities and shared memories of each of them.

“Graduation is always a special evening. It is a time to recognize not only the completion of one chapter, but also the beginning of many new ones,” she said. “We are proud of you, we are excited for you, and we are honored to celebrate this moment with you tonight.”

The school’s guidance counselor, Emily Hill, presented scholarships totaling $311,326 to the students.

The senior class presented a slide show depicting moments throughout their school years, then received their diplomas and turned their tassels, signifying their status as graduates.

To conclude the evening, the group participated in a candlelight ceremony before processing off the stage.
