First annual Wicked Wise Women Gala to benefit Hope & Justice Project

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Heather Mladek Photography will host the first annual Wicked Wise Women Gala on Friday, Oct. 17 at the Northeastland Hotel (downstairs ballroom) in Presque Isle. The evening will celebrate women’s stories and strength while raising funds for the Hope & Justice Project, a local nonprofit supporting survivors of domestic abuse.

The Wicked Wise Women Project is a year-round portrait experience designed to help women feel seen, confident and celebrated. The gala brings that mission into a community fundraiser and gathering, featuring a night of mingling, storytelling and fundraising activities including a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and a LuxeLens Photo Booths video booth experience.

Guests will also have the opportunity to receive tarot readings from Tiffany Carmichael of Tiffany’s Divine Connections. Half of the proceeds from her tarot readings will be donated to the Hope & Justice Project.

“This project is about honoring women exactly as they are — and using art, community, and celebration to create real impact,” Heather Mladek, owner of Heather Mladek Photography, said.
