ASHLAND, Maine – Randolph ‘Randy’ Lee Durrell, 70, passed away on December 3, 2017, at his home in Ashland. He was born in Rumford on April 8, 1947, son of Reginald and Olive (Fletcher) Durrell.
Randy had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. A hard worker, he worked for Maine State Potato Board for thirty-four years and the Ashland School District for ten years. He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda (Marquis) Durrell; two sons, Lee Durrell and his companion, Wendy, Jason Durrell and his wife, Heather; his mother, Olive (Fletcher) Durrell; one sister, Mary Gagnon and her husband, Dave; one brother, Dennis Durrell and his wife, Sue; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Reginald Durrell. Randy was loved by all that met him and will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Ashland. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8 and from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Saturday before the service.
