PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — VNA Home Health Hospice will begin its fall Grief Support Group from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings beginning Sept. 5 at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle.
This six-week support group will run until Oct. 10 and offers adults the opportunity to learn about grief and share their experiences in a supportive, safe environment. Anyone 18 and older who is dealing with the death of a loved one may join.
There is no fee, but the group is limited to a maximum of 12 people. Participants should plan to attend all sessions, and no new participants will be accepted after Sept. 12 in order to maintain group integrity.
Anyone interested in attending the group must call the bereavement coordinator, George McLaughlin, at 764-9413 in order to reserve a spot.
