CARIBOU, Maine – Glennis A. Chase, 79, wife of the late Sterling Chase, died August 31, 2018, at Caribou. She was born in Bowdoin on October 30, 1938, the daughter of the late Roland and Elizabeth (Sheloske) Cornish. Glennis was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Elaina Belleville of Presque Isle, Scott and MaryLynn Belleville of Gouldsboro, N.C.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Daniel Corey Jr. and Justine and Richard Fitzherbert, all of Presque Isle; one stepson, Lloyd Chase and his wife, Pamela, of Liberty; two stepdaughters, Loretta Nelson and husband, Melvin of New Sweden and Lorraine Gallagher and husband, Darrell, of Florida; two sisters, Beverly Fiori of Bowdoin and Margaret Babb of Hermon; her grandchildren, Arik, Savannah, Andrew, and James Belleville, Jared and Jeremy Dickinson, and Autumn and Alec Lizotte; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Chase was predeceased by her husband, Sterling in 1998; a brother, Roland, and a sister, Maryanne.
