PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Presque Isle Middle School hosted the Track and Field Aroostook League Championship.
The overall top female for individual score was Keira Tompkins of Presque Isle Middle School with 32 points. Tori Ervin of Greater Houlton Christian Academy finished second with 28.50 points. Hailey Himes, PIMS, tied for third place with GHCA’s Andrea Ross scoring 24.5 points. Carrlyn Buck, PIMS, scored 22.5 points finishing in fifth place, and Breanna Royer, also of PIMS was sixth with 21 points. Valley Rivers Middle School’s Madeleine Martin placed seventh with 20 points. Aleah Rideout of PIMS placed eighth with 20 points, and Neve O’Donnell, PIMS, placed ninth with 17. Rounding out the top 10 was Caribou’s Chloe Boma with 16 points.
Overall girls team scores were PIMS, Aroostook League Champions, scoring 175 points. In second place was Greater Houlton Christian Academy with 79 points. Third place went to Valley Rivers Middle School with 52 points. Caribou Middle School finished in fourth place with 41 points, Fort Fairfield Middle School finished fifth with 13 points and Union 122 placed sixth with 10 points.
Wildcat boys who finished in the top 10 individual score were Eli Mosher, second place with 28 points, Kilian Deschaine, third place with 24.50 points, and Isaac Gogain, fourth place, scoring 22.50 points.
The boys finished second out of six teams with a score of 103 points. Caribou Middle School was the Aroostook League Champion with 121 points. In third place was Fort Fairfield Middle School, 65 points, and the fourth place finisher was Valley Rivers Middle School with 40 points. Greater Houlton Christian Academy placed fifth scoring 25 points, and Union 122 was sixth place with 16 points.
