Heather Kenny Dixon has been elected president of the Autauga County Bar Association in Prattville, Ala. Dixon has been serving that state’s 19th Judicial District as an Assistant District Attorney for the past five years. In that capacity, she has successfully prosecuted many cases including a recent landmark trial involving Internet child pornography. During the past year she organized and led a continuing law education program for adult learners in her judicial venue.
Dixon is the daughter of Dr. James T. Kenny and Delia Trafford Kenny, of Bangor. She is a graduate of Presque Isle High School, Auburn University and earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D) degree from Faulkner University. Dixon is married to William Todd Dixon. They reside with their two children in Prattville.
