The award, sponsored by the Maine Principal’s Association (MPA), is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
“Jordan is very deserving of this recognition because he exemplifies, in his own personal life, the attention our teachers and school give to the academic preparation of all our students,” said Jago. “Jordan’s Christ-like character has also served as an example for what we desire our students to aim for in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ lived out in day-to-day life. This is also a tribute to his dad and mom, Brent and Shelby McGuire.”
The principal’s award is presented in more than 140 Maine public schools and private high schools by member principals of the MPA, the professional association which represents Maine’s school administrators.
