On Thursday, May 8, Miss Wannetta Townsend attended the annual RSVP appreciation dinner at the Smoki Hauler Snow Club in Oakfield.
Mrs. Myrna Sprague spent some time recently with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Price. She was there to attend the graduation of her nephew, Jonathan Price, from college.
On Saturday, May 17, Mrs. Gail Berry and granddaughter Emily McArdle of Ashland were callers on her sister and her great aunt Miss Wannetta Townsend.
On Wednesday, May 21, Mrs. Marie Gillotti and Miss Wannetta Townsend attended Senior Citizens at the Smoki Haulers Snow Club in Oakfield.
Recently there was a good turnout for a benefit supper for Rollie Cameron at the Oakfield Community Center.
Mary Beth Collier and Michael Cloch of Eddington are the proud parents of a son, Calab Michael, born May 10. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. David Collier and great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dana Hardy.
On Monday, June 2, the Dyer Brook Christmas Club had lunch at Taste of China in Houlton. Those attending included: Mrs. Sandi Wyman, Mrs. Marion McKee, Mrs. Marie Gillotti, Miss Wannetta Townsend, Mrs. Vera Rockwell, Mrs. Rose Paradis, Mrs. Sis McLaughlin, Mrs. Tessie Barrett, Mrs. Ursula Levesque and Mrs. Velma Carter.
There will be a Wild West Night at the Oakfield Community Center for Tuesday Night Jam on June 17. The event is sponsored by “Miss Ursula and her Retired Saloon Girl Society.” A potluck supper will be at 5 p.m. followed by music and dancing. Door prizes will be for men only and a 50/50 draw will also be held. Attire for the night is western-style dress. All are welcome to bring a friend and come enjoy an evening of fun.

On Tuesday, May 27, Mr. and Mrs. Crane attended graduation for their grandson Matthew Crane, who graduated from Kindergarten at Greater Houlton Christian Academy.
