BANGOR – Presque Isle High School senior Courtney Hoffses sped up and down the swim lanes last Saturday to qualify for state competition in the individual medley. Hoffses’ time of 2:49.49 met the time requirements and put the swimmer 18th among her Penobscot Valley competitiors. The Presque Isle varsity swim teams placed ninth overall at the PVC championships at Husson College.
