North Country Cruisers Motorsport weekend winners

    The North Country Cruisers sponsored the first Houlton Motor Madness car show last Sunday. There were around 60 cars entered into the show, as the rain held off for their event.
    The Peoples’ Choice Award recipient was Mike Murchie and picking up the Best of Show, Best Paint and Best Interior awards was Scott St. Peter. The Longest Distance award went to Bill and Linda Small.
    Winning the tractor division first and second place was Del Hastey with his 1941 John Deere and 1964 International, respectively.
    Pick ups 79 and older: first, Bill Berriau, 1952 Mercury; second, St. Peter, 1956 Ford F100 and third, Don Silliboy, 1941 Dodge.
    Pick ups 1980s: first, Curtis Henry, 1989 GMC Sierra.
    Pick ups 1990 and newer: first, Josh Murchie, 1999 Chevy S10; second, Mike Scott, 2005 Ford Tuscany and third, St. Peter, 2004 Ford F150.
    Corvettes: first, Paul Spinney, 2001.
