MIAMI – Ryder System, Inc., a global leader in transportation and supply chain management solutions, has honored Sr. Service Manager Eldon Crouse Jr. of Hermon with the company’s Maintenance Excellence Award (MEA) for 2007. This is the second consecutive year the Blaine native has earned the Maintenance Excellence Award. The MEA recognizes the top performing Maintenance Managers for outstanding customer service, maintenance and safety performance. The award represents the ultimate achievement, to be named among Ryder’s “Best of the Best.”
Crouse has responsibility for over seven Ryder maintenance facilities in northern Maine.
He was recognized along with 27 national MEA honorees at a recent ceremony near Ryder’s headquarters in Miami.
Crouse and his wife Heather, a Mars Hill native, have two daughters, Jenna, age 11, and Bryanne, 9.
