HODGDON, Maine — The SAD 70 school board is once again looking for individuals to fill three empty or vacated positions on the board.

Chairman Laura Geiger, who represents Ludlow, resigned from the board last month for personal reasons. Longtime school board member Joel Oliver of Hodgdon was voted chairman at the Nov. 9 meeting.

Andrew Nickerson of New Limerick also resigned from the board prior to that Nov. 9 meeting. There is also one empty seat for a Hodgdon representative.

The remaining board is made up of: Maureen Friel (Cary); Gordon Ledger (Amity); Darlene Theriault (New Limerick); Lisa Dangerfield (Linneus); Cindy Hutchinson (Linneus); Angela Howland (Haynesville); Mark Ganzel (Linneus); Tom Horton (Hodgdon); Ronald Silliboy (Hodgdon); and David Harris (Hodgdon).

Any individual from Hodgdon, New Limerick or Ludlow who would like to serve on the group should speak to their respective board of selectmen to be appointed.
