Dorena M. Johndro, 65, died April 2, 2008, at Fort Kent. She was born at Caribou, October 25, 1942, the daughter of Louis and Eva (Martin) Belanger. She was a graduate of the Caribou High School. Dorena was employed at Cary Medical Center for over 20 years in central supply. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic where she was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. Dorena was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She married Reginald Johndro on June 24, 1965.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Caribou are one son Rodney Johndro of Limestone; one daughter Karen Wright and her husband James of Pleasureville, Kentucky; one brother Clarence Belanger of Caribou; three sisters, Jeannette St.Peter and her husband Leo of Caribou, Joyce LaFrancois and her husband Albert of New Sweden and Kalen Hill and her husband Ernie of Caribou; two grand children Austin Hilton and Timmy Wright; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial.
