Saucier, Philip M., 79, Mapleton and Limestone; in Presque Isle, December 20, 2008. Spring interment will take place at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

 

ImageMAPLETON  and LIMESTONE – Philip M. Saucier, 79, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born December 18, 1929, in Eagle Lake, the son of Philias and Sophia (Michaud) Saucier.  Image
    Philip served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He also worked for many years in department store maintenance.  Philip was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
    He is survived by his wife, Marion Saucier of Limestone; Robin Chasse and her husband Stephen of Rochester, NH; Tanya Harris and her husband Peter of Calais; four grandchildren, Della and Halen Harris and Amber and Stephen Chasse II. He is survived by three sisters, Anita Doustou and Jeanette Doustou both of Presque Isle, Yvonne Marquis of Eagle Lake as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by six brothers, Maxime, Leonard, Joseph, Louis, Arthur, and Leo; four sisters, Exilia Saucier, Agnus Bernier, Marie Saucier and Maudis Saucier.
    Funeral services were conducted 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle with the Rev. Raymond Morency officiating. Friends called from 2 p.m. until time of service. A spring interment will take place at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
