King-Thomas Scholarship
The Guidance office at Ashland Community High School is accepting applications for the King-Thomas Trust Award. The scholarship, made possible through the generosity of Ms. Barbara Thomas-King of Masardis, awarded over $50,000 to graduates and alumni in June of 2006. Eligibility criteria includes: residency within an SAD 32 community and being a senior at or graduate of Ashland Community High School. The application deadline is the first Monday in May. Applications may be obtained at the Guidance Office or accessed don the district’s website, sad32.org.

Aroostook students
The Maine Community Foundation has scholarships available for high school students interested in pursuing post-secondary education. The following funds are available to Aroostook County residents. For information on scholarships available to Maine students on a statewide basis, visit the foundation’s Web site at www.mainecf.org.
The Jerome Peters Family Fund benefits Maine residents in their second, third or fourth year at Bentley College. Preference is given to residents of Aroostook County.
