CARIBOU – Annette (Roy) Corriveau, 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, with her family by her side at a Van Buren Nursing Home. Annette was born in Frenchville on May 11, 1925, the daughter of Henry and Pheobe (Gagnon) Voisine.
She was a devoted mother and wife, and was married to her husband Patrick Corriveau for almost 70 years. Annette worked for many years at Reno’s Family Restaurant, where she loved to work beside her family. She was well known for her wonderful cooking and for her love of gardening.
In addition to her husband Patrick, Annette is survived by her children and their spouses, Reno and Jeanette Corriveau of Caribou, Leo and Beverly Corriveau of Caribou, Rena and James Michaud of Caribou, Patrick Corriveau Jr. of KY, Gloria Sheffield of Presque Isle, Theresa and Gene Smith of VA, Nelson and Brenda Corriveau of Caribou, Danny and Shellie Corriveau of Caribou and Tammy Cyr of Caribou. She is also survived
by her brother, Willard Voisine of Limestone and her sister, Bernice Valencourt of Bingham. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Annette was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Norman, Albert and Patrick Voisine; and her sisters, Pricilla Roy and Daila Roy.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday, April 4th from 11-1 p.m. at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover Street, Caribou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following visitation at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, Father Aaron Damboise officiating. A reception will follow services at the funeral home.
