DEDICATION, INTEGRITY, COMPOSURE

DEDICATION, INTEGRITY, COMPOSURE and purpose describes the 2008-2009 Presque Isle Novice Hockey Team. The ten players showed Aroostook County and New Brunswick what it is to never give up. The season started with only eight players, but before the end there were two more. Larger teams were astounded by the heart that these kids displayed.

The team was taught by head coach Pierre Patenaude, and coaches Kevin Schumacher and Terry Levesque to listen, think, play good clean hockey and have fun! These lessons led this team to 16 wins and 1 tie out of 24 games. Their season ended by winning all three games at their Casco Bay Tournament. There is no better way to spend the winter than to be a part of a close-knit team that feels like a family.  We can’t wait for next season to begin!
