In the Central Aroostook Panther’s most recent games, the varsity baseball team defeated Hodgdon 15-3.
Led by Kasey Brewer, the Panthers took a first inning four-run lead, and added 10 more runs to their score at the top of the second. Brewer contributed a double, two singles and an RBI for the Panthers while Brendan York added three runs and three singles as the Panthers defeated the Hawks in only five innings.

The Lady Panthers were not as successful, falling to Hodgon 17-14, unable to catch up to the Lady Hawks before the seventh. Leading offensively for CAHS was Kristen Long, who hit two doubles and a single with four RBIs.
Ashley Estabrook followed close behind with three doubles and two RBIs.
The Panther teams took on GHCA in double headers over the weekend as the varsity boys team swept the Eagles 6-2 and 19-2.         The Lady Panthers split their back-to-back home games with the Lady Eagles as Central Aroostook won the first game 24-13, but fell 16-15 in the seventh inning during the second.
Despite a 15-10 point lead heading into the final inning, the Lady Panthers were unable to stop a late game rally by the Lady Eagles.
With heal point standings as recent as May 12, the Lady Panthers are seeded 13 out of 18 for Class D and the Panthers stand in third place.
