Wildlife refuge to host Extension speaker

    LIMESTONE — The friends of the Aroostook National Wildlife “Second Saturday” event for April. will feature Linda Trickey of UMaine Cooperative Extension.

    Trickey’s presentation will be at 1 p.m. and will discuss the topic of native plants, trees and shrubs used to attract wildlife. Participants will learn what they must do to attract wildlife to their property. The Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge is located on 96 Refuge Road in Limestone. The event will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
