After approving the budget earlier this month, commissioners met Wednesday in Fort Kent to approve the total assessment.
This is the second strike in six months by the facility’s registered nurses represented by the Maine State Nurses Association.
The vote will take place in the Hodgdon Middle High School auditorium.

The budget next goes to a referendum vote on June 6 in each community.

The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash on Main Street in Limestone shortly after 6 a.m.
The Maine Teacher of the Year will be chosen later this year from among the 16 county honorees.
The issues stem from a mid-March inspection of the sprinkler system at the 118 Bennett Drive plaza that found it was nonfunctional in one-third of the building.
