Immediately following the unanimous vote to place Cameron Clark on leave, Council Chairperson Jane Torres and Councilors Jim Peters and Erin Matthews resigned.
“It’s important for people to maybe take a look at some of the good things that Mr. Clark has done for our town both financially and in many, many ways.”
The City Council voted on Sept. 15 to reject all bids for the project — each significantly over budget — and look at renovating existing buildings instead.
