100 Years Ago – April 21, 1921
New officers — At the annual meeting of the Fidelity Trust Co. held in Portland last week, two former Houlton men were among the officers elected. Major Roland Clark was appointed vice president in charge of the Bond Department, and Hon. Leonard Pierce was elected a member of its advisory board.

President of the Bar Association  — At an annual meeting of the Aroostook County Bar Association held at the CourtHouse in Houlton, the following officers were elected: Carl A. Welck, President; W. Scott Brown, Vice president; James C. Madigan, Treasurer; Albert P. Putnam, Secretary.

  100 Years Ago – April 14, 1921
Fresh maple syrup — Fayette Blackstone of Perham was in Caribou Monday delivering many gallons of maple syrup to customers. Mr. Blackstone has a well earned reputation for making about as fine maple syrup as can be found anywhere.

Rotary’s new president, vice president — By vote of the Board of Directors of the Presque Isle Rotary Club on April 4, 1946, the following officers were elected: President, George W.
