Church plans drive-thru roast beef dinner

Saturday, Oct. 24, will be a popular evening for area residents who are looking for a terrific roast beef supper.  The West Chapman Advent Christian Church will offer a take-out, drive-thru supper from 4:30-6 p.m. or until they run out.  

Drive-thru supper to aid Mapleton Daze

This Saturday, Oct. 17, the Mapleton Daze Committee is Mapleton, Chapman and Castle Hill want everyone to consider letting them do the cooking and the dishes. By accepting their offer, you will be helping raise funds for Mapleton Daze Events for June 2021.  

Mapleton Lions sponsor modified Balloon Fest

Again the Covid-19 pandemic continues to interfere with our fun summertime activities.  The 2020 Crown of Maine Balloon Fest Committee is planning a special modified Balloon Fest weekend, which will be sponsored by many businesses and organizations including the Mapleton Lions Club.

The Mapleton Lions Club was hoping their annual chicken barbecue on Saturday, July 11, would be a sit-down dining event, but due to COVID-19 restrictions the meal will be a drive-thru affair.
