SAD 1 to serve summer meals

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The SAD 1 Food Service Department will offer a Summer Food Service Program beginning Monday, June 25, and ending on Friday, Aug. 10.

No pre-registration or proof of income is required. Meals will be provided to all children and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis at the following sites and times.

Presque Isle

Birch Street Apartments: breakfast 8-8:20 a.m.; lunch 11-11:25 a.m.

Ray View Manor: Breakfast 8:25-8:35 a.m.; lunch 11:25-11:40 a.m.

Helen Noreen Apartments: breakfast 8:25-8:40 a.m.; lunch 11:45 a.m.-12 noon.

Zippel Elementary School: breakfast 8:45-9 a.m.; lunch 11:45 a.m.-12:05 p.m.

Micmac Drive: breakfast 8-8:20 a.m.; lunch 11-11::20 a.m.

Riverside Park: lunch 11:30-11:55 a.m.

Pine Street Elementary School: lunch 11-11:20 a.m.

Mapleton

Mapleton Recreation Department: breakfast 8:45-9 a.m.; lunch 11:45-12:15 p.m.

Bridgewater

Bridgewater Recreation Center: breakfast 9-9:20 a.m.; lunch 12-12:30 p.m.

Easton

Easton  Recreation Center: breakfast 8:45-9:15 a.m.; lunch, 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Mars Hill

Mars Hill gazebo: lunch 11:45-12:30 p.m.

No meals will be served on Wednesday, July 4. Federal regulations require that all meals must be eaten at the delivery site.
