HOULTON, Maine – Jerry A. Schools, 63, Houlton died Oct. 26, 2018 in Houlton. He was born May 8, 1955 in Houlton, the son of Cecil and Lizzie (Barker) Schools. Jerry loved hunting, fishing, spending time in the woods but especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by his former wife, Beverly Hagerman of Houlton; two sons, Peter and Brandi Schools of Littleton and Jordan and Amanda Schools of Monticello; five grandchildren, Michael, Nathan,Taylor, Madison, and Mikey; two sisters, Charlene and Charlie McLaughlin of Patten and Joan Duff of Sugar Hill, Georgia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
Friends may call 12 p.m. -1 p.m. Friday, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, with funeral services being held at 1p.m. with the Rev. Steve Straubel officiating. There will be a celebration of life afterwards at the Monticello Fish & Game Club. Interment will be in the Littleton Cemetery at a later date.
