Girl Scout volunteers and girls in grades 6 and above are invited to the winter 1Voice meeting – a meeting format designed to give Girl Scout volunteers and older girl members the information and resources needed for the rest of the Girl Scout year. The District 1 1Voice meeting will be held at Grant Memorial United Methodist Church, 79 Fleetwood Street, Presque Isle, Saturday, March 17 from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a potluck luncheon. Those staying for lunch are asked to bring a dish to share.
The agenda for this meeting includes a District 1 business meeting for girls in grades 8 and above and adult volunteers. Agenda items include a report from the board of directors and up-to-date information on the council realignment process in preparation for the council annual meeting April 28.
Other topics to be covered include plans for spring registration, information on bridging activities and end of the year financial reports. Troop leaders will receive their registration packets and activity booklets packed with troop activities. Information on resident camp and troop and family camping at Camp Natarswi will also be available.
