UMPI Class of 2007

Three hundred and forty-nine students graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Saturday, May 12, at 10:30 a.m. during commencement exercises. A total of 356 degrees were awarded for the 2006-2007 academic year, with seven students earning double degrees. President Donald Zillman conferred the degrees upon the 181 students who participated in the ceremony held in Wieden Gymnasium.
   Barry McCrum brought greetings from the University of Maine System Board of Trustees. Jeffrey Clinton Kimball addressed his classmates as the valedictorian.
Jeffrey Clinton Kimball, Easton, the valedictorian, received a bachelor of arts degree in behavioral science with a minor in criminal Justice and Jacqueline Cesare from  Millinocket is the salutatorian and received a bachelor of science degree with a major in recreation and a minor in business.
