FORT KENT – A classic Presque Isle/Caribou finish ended last Tuesday’s cross country ski event at 10th Mountain Lodge in Fort Kent.
PI senior Corey Park sailed to the quickest time of 16:13 while Viking Finn Bondeson passed into second in 17:23.
The Fort Kent squad combined scoring for the first-place rank with 27 points, followed by Caribou with 28.
Presque Isle skied to third with 37 points.
Madawaska, Fort Fairfield and Central Aroostook High School rounded out the bottom three schools.

The Wildcats girls sped around the course to slide into second behind Fort Kent with a team score of 36 points, while Caribou pushed into third with 45 points. Fort Fairfield and Central Aroostook combined times for the final two positions.
